Coastal Action would like to thank everyone who came out to support us at the AGM last Thursday!
Congratulation to Bailey Silver for being awarded the Dan MacPhail Memorial Bursary this year and to David Maxwell for being awarded our Volunteer of the Year.
A special shout out to The Nova Scotia Sea School and Executive Director Heather Kelday for an great presentation.

Rain Barrel Construction Workshop

When? Sunday July 10th from 2pm to 5pm
Where? Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre
*Rain Date: July 17th 2pm to 5pm

Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation and Town of Bridgewater will be hosting a FREE 3-hour rain barrel building workshop at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre. Open to all. The program aims to give residents the equipment, tools, and training to build their own rain barrel, of which 15 will be available.

Donations needed:
Refreshments (cans of juice or jugs of water)

Volunteers needed:
We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to help the event run smoothly, ideally individuals that are comfortable using power tools such as drills.
