Trailblazers junior leader program

Are you interested in building your leadership skills and gaining a high-quality volunteer experience? Sign up for our Junior Leader Program to learn new skills and volunteer your time as a Trailblazers leader at New Ross Consolidated School, Chester Area Middle School, or Bridgewater Junior High School! This program is aimed at youth who participated in Trailblazers before and have now aged out of the program, but anyone in grade 7+ is able to apply!

This free program will begin with an orientation session where Junior Leaders will learn about the program, review the Junior Leader expectations, and get to practice leading activities and games in a safe and supportive environment. Once the training is completed, Junior Leaders will volunteer at the weekly Trailblazers sessions.
Interested in participating but not a student at a participating school? As long as you can get a ride to where the program takes place, you can apply to volunteer!

ENVIRO sTEWARDS

A 3-day program for youth ages 14-18
This program is designed each year to match the interests of the participants. Throughout the program, our Enviro Stewards will help with fieldwork/environmental research, gain skills in community engagement and outreach, and learn how to plan and execute an environmental project.
There are also lots of opportunities for structured and unstructured relationship building and fun. The aim is for youth to leave the program feeling empowered about making a difference in their communities and being able to identify a local network of support and resources to assist them in doing so.
